Students at West Point Elementary School embraced themes of creativity, collaboration and real-world skills during the school’s sixth annual Bulldog Book Club, tying literature to hands-on learning that supports DoWEA’s emphasis on student agency and civic readiness.

Americas Director for Student Achievement Matthew Kirby has announced the appointment of Dr. Andrea Marr as Family and Stakeholder Engagement Officer for the Americas Mid-Atlantic District and Hugh McKinnon as Family and Stakeholder Engagement Officer for the Americas Southeast District.

The Department of War Education Activity is pleased to announce that nominations for the 2027 Principal of the Year will be accepted Aug. 24 to Sept. 18, 2026.

- Students arriving ten minutes past the start time are counted tardy.
- Notify the school no later than 8:15 a.m. at WPES.Attendance@dodea.edu if a student will be tardy or absent.
