In support of the WPES Book Club's annual event, the Quarter 4 AAPS LOS1 lessons embraced themes of innovation, technology, STEM job attributes, space exploration topics, and problem-solving skills. The school-wide chosen book, A Rover's Story, perfectly complemented the DoDEA curricular topics planned by Mrs. Taplin for Quarter 4 to coplan and to coteach with Grades K - 5.

Inspired by the USO-hosted STEMtoSpace 2024 event, our fourth and fifth-grade students actively participated in the live virtual session by taking detailed notes on the rich discussions. USO's Tommy McFly led the session, exploring innovative topics through a question-and-answer format. It was an honor to be part of this STEMtastic event! We eagerly look forward to more of these USO sessions in the future.

Feed The R.O.B.O.T. with your checked out books. Visit the WPES library collection desk to place your checked out books into the mouth of the Return Our Books On Time (ROBOT). Summer resources are available for your WPES registered students using your WPES Library databases.
