WPES Student Council Leadership

This December, the Elementary School Student Council actively engaged in two meaningful community service projects: Wreaths Across America and Toys for Tots.

For Wreaths Across America, our student council members participated in a heartfelt ceremony to honor and remember our nation's veterans at West Point Cemetery. They helped lay wreaths on the graves of fallen heroes, showing respect and gratitude for their service and sacrifice.

In addition, the student council organized a successful Toys for Tots drive. Students, families, and staff generously donated new, unwrapped toys, which were then distributed to children in need. Imagine their excited heartbeats as the families of the student council witnessed the loading of these gifts onto the Toys for Tots Train! How is that for ensuring that their initiatives brought joy and holiday cheer to many young hearts in our community.

Through events like Wreaths Across America and Toys for Tots, our WPES student council demonstrated leadership, compassion, and a strong commitment to giving back. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and the positive impact they have made. Great job, Mr. Wormsley, for leading this fine group of students while instilling exemplary community service.
