Library Database Update

*Thursday, December 12, 2024, will be the last day our school’s Information Center can circulate physical books (check-in and check-out) before the winter break. *

DoDEA has acquired a new library management system called MackinVision. MackinVision will replace Destiny Discover on our first day back from the break on January 6, 2025. In preparation for this change, all Mid-Atlantic DoDEA Information Centers will stop circulating books before the winter break (for WPES that date will be Thursday, December 12, 2024). Any books checked out to student on or before December 12^th can remain with the students until after the winter break. If a physical book/title is returned after December 12^th, I can hold the book but will not be able to update our computer records until the new system is up and running. 

Never fear… MackinVia is here!! MackinVia is our one stop shop for eBooks, Audio books and databases. So, students can access these online resources over the break. You can also download the MackinVia App for reading on the go! There are helpful videos and support information available on the WPS library website.
